We are a community school for pregnant and parenting students and their children. We believe that education should be hands-on and relevant to real-life, college and career. We do so with a personalized school model that includes both blended-online and project-based learning.

Become a Student at Longfellow

We, at Longfellow High School, are always looking for new students to add to our school.  We are school designated for pregnant and parenting teens, but we are also a place where these students can thrive in their education and earn their high school diploma.  We have many different programs to help our students further their education past high school.  If you, or someone you know, are interested in joining us at Longfellow High School, please give us a call at 612-668-4700 and we'd be happy to give you more information.

Summer School Registration

Students who are interested in attending Summer School at Longfellow should register TODAY. Talk to your advisor to register, or see Lindsay with any questions.

At Longfellow Alternative High School we provide a personalized learning environment for students to complete their high school education and build a strong future through an emphasis on attendance, academic achievement, and positive relationships. By encouraging critical thought, providing prenatal and parenting education, and partnering with community services we support diploma-driven parents and kindergarten ready children as they establish the groundwork for lifelong learning.

Every teen parent will be prepared for post-secondary education and employment. Every child will be ready for kindergarten.
